Tonight was one of those evenings where you sit there thinking: Every parent needs to know this!! 👌🏽So much of the education system can feel confusing, especially when your child needs extra support. There are so many acronyms, processes, pathways, and people involved, and it can be hard to know what you are actually allowed to ask for.

Tonight helped cut through that. Kendra from IncludEd Education covered so much about learning support, ILPs and IEPs, RTLB, ORS funding, pastoral care, assistive technology, communication supports, school attendance rights, and what families can do when things are not working.

But more than ANYTHING, the message was this: Your child has rights. You are allowed to ask questions. You are allowed to advocate. And you do not have to sit quietly if something does not feel right. Huge thanks to IncludED for sharing such clear, practical, and deeply human information with our parent community.

Loving it! Everyone is super impressed with everything! We will definitely be ordering more resources through this incredible company! The fact that they went above and beyond to get the resources to us faster than expected, and customised them with the Hornby High School logo.
